Thank Heaven for Little Girls

In case you missed the flood of pictures on Facebook, our baby girl was baptized over the weekend. Our friend Jeremy was so kind and came to our house to do it at home. Doing it in our house was special and significant. As he opened up the ceremony, baptizing a child in the place where they will grow and learn is a touching and heartfelt location. Christopher and I were so pleased with the ceremony and all our thanks go to Jeremy and his wife (and one of my good friends) Maggie. :-)
All most all of our family made for the ceremony. (We missed you KS Lewis'!) There was love, faith, food, and fun. It was so sweet how everyone came together with God to support our little Lorelai.

  1. I'm glad our rosary was there to help celebrate! I know it's a Catholic thing, but it's tradition in my family for all babies to have a rosary made especially for them.
